MATERIAL STUDY
The method of incorporating program into a site consists of understanding the existing environmental conditions and applying an action relevant to it’s demands. The existing characteristics can emerge as a catalyst for experimenting how an environmental condition could transmitted to a material and how the two could in fact create a dialogue within a spacial enviroment. Once aware of how specific conditions affect one another the loose integration of program can happen. The approach here was to dissect activities associated with actions or verbs and pair them with a program according to the similarites between their environmental and material qualities. The programmatic relief models shown below merged the material studies and began to apply them to specific programs based on the behavioral qualities discovered by the models.
